Description
Comfortpool Inverter Pro 9 is a pool heat pump with inverter technology. An inverter heat pump uses its heating capacity smartly and efficiently. Unlike traditional heat pumps, Inverter Pro does not constantly run at full power, but automatically switches to an energy-saving mode if this is possible. The heat pump therefore never works harder than necessary, and that makes a huge difference in energy consumption!
When it comes to pool heating, a heat pump is the best method: energy efficient and with the highest efficiency. A heat pump heats the water and then keeps it at a constant temperature (when the filter pump is on). That way, the water is always nice and warm when you want to take a dip. The Inverter Pro heat pump works most efficiently at an outside temperature between 0 and 43°C, but can certainly also be used when it is even colder outside. It even has a defrost function, so it can still be used in really cold weather.

Inverter Pro series
The Inverter Pro heat pump is the most energy efficient Comfortpool heat pump. Inverter Pro automatically switches to energy-efficient mode as often as possible, and therefore hardly runs at full power. As soon as the water temperature drops a little, the Inverter Pro restores it to normal with the minimum possible power. The heat pump therefore mainly runs on medium or low heat capacity, which leads to optimal efficiency and ultimate energy savings. This way you have a nice warm pool and a low energy bill.
How does the heat pump work?
A refrigerant flows in the heat pump and this refrigerant absorbs heat from the outside air. It can always extract useful heat from the air, even when it is still quite cold outside. The refrigerant thus becomes hotter and evaporates into a gas. This gas then flows into the compressor where it is compressed (gas under high pressure becomes very hot). The heated gas then flows along the pipe with cold pool water, the water is heated and then flows back into the pool nice and warm. Meanwhile, by releasing its heat into the pool water, the refrigerant cools down and becomes liquid again, after which the whole process starts again.
Energy efficient inverter technology
An inverter heat pump works with variable heat capacity, unlike the traditional on/off heat pump which always works at a constant speed and full power. At the beginning of the season, the Inverter Pro goes to full power to quickly heat up the cold water. It then maintains this temperature and switches to an energy saving mode. When the water temperature drops, it returns to normal with the minimum power required. This inverter technology saves a lot of energy, up to 60% compared to a regular heat pump!
WIFI module (optional)
Comfortpool Inverter Pro has an optional WIFI module, which you can order separately. A box that can be placed on the Inverter Pro heat pump, with which the heat pump can connect to the WiFi network at your home. By then installing the 'Smarter Pool' app on your phone or tablet, you can control the heat pump from the comfort of your sofa and see all kinds of information, such as the current temperature of the pool water or the power at which the heat pump is currently running.
Additional supplies
To install this Comfortpool heat pump you need a few extra parts, but this is all in one handy set. Take a good look at the connections to your pool. For a pool with Ø 38 mm connections, you need the Inverter Pro connection set 38 mm . Do you have a pool with Ø 32 mm connections? Then you need the Inverter Pro connection set 32 mm . You can then choose how much pool hose you need per meter.
Which Inverter Pro heat pump is suitable for my pool?
Which inverter heat pump suits your pool mainly depends on the size of the pool. The heat pump must have sufficient capacity to efficiently heat all pool water. This table contains the most important data for all heat pumps from the Comfortpool Inverter Pro series. Pay particular attention to the heating capacity and maximum pool size . Overcapacity of the heat pump is of course always permitted, but undercapacity is not recommended. Immediately check the minimum pump power to see if your filter pump is strong enough for the heat pump you choose.
* The COP value describes the energy consumption and efficiency of a heat pump. A COP of 9 means that the heat pump can emit 9 kW of heat with 1 kW of energy.
